There are moments in life I wish I could freeze forever.
Not with a camera. Not with a phone. But with my own eyes.
As a photographer, a mother, a wife… just a girl living this beautifully messy life, I often wish I had the superpower to capture memories simply by seeing them. To hold onto them forever the moment they happen.
Because moments are fleeting.
A laugh that echoes through the kitchen. The way the afternoon light spills through the trees. A candid smile from someone you love when they don’t know you’re looking.
Sometimes I’m standing right in the middle of a moment, one that touches my heart so deeply, and my camera isn’t in my hand. And my first thought is always the same.
Man… I wish I could hold onto this moment forever.
I wish my eyes could capture it the way my camera can.
So that one day I could look back and revisit the memories that shaped this life. See them again. Feel them again. Relive them exactly as they were.
Photography is the closest thing I have to that superpower.
It's my way of holding onto time when time refuses to slow down. My way of preserving the smiles, the laughter, the quiet in-between moments that might otherwise disappear.
I’ve always tried to capture life the best I could.
But the truth is, some of the most meaningful moments are the ones no camera ever sees.
The ones that simply live inside your heart.
And maybe that’s the deeper beauty of it.
Maybe some memories were never meant to live in a frame, only in the soul of the person who experienced them.
Still… if I could choose a photography superpower?
I’d choose the ability to capture life with my eyes.
And keep those moments forever.
